The process of waiting is hard because we come face to face with our biggest fears and insecurities and every day... sometimes every 5 minutes... and we have to decide if we're going to give up and let fear win OR if we are going to endure and trust the process.
Choosing to be positive doesn’t mean you’re not being realistic- it means that you’re focusing on solutions and open to seeing opportunities in the struggle!
What do you want? How bad do you want it? Do you want it more than the excuses you've been making? Do you want it bad enough to look foolish going after it? Do you want it bad enough to sacrifice your time, your savings, and your comfort?
Shame tells us to handle heart ache alone. Sometimes it whispers things like, "If they really knew you or your struggle they wouldn't like you." So we keep it in and fight alone. But what if you're really not alone?
What if the obstacle in front of you isn't actually in your way or keeping you from what you want?? What if it's an invitation to grow, become stronger, to be more generous with your love and compassion or to be more patient with yourself?
