WAKE UP WORDS: TAKE THE RISK

Sometimes risk requires big sacrifice and large leaps of faith. Other times it beckons us to get quiet and be still. Risk is the core of love. It’s the foundation for a life of meaning and fulfillment- but it comes with a cost.

The number one reason we don’t risk? Because we are afraid of failing! But what if we flipped failure on it’s head and chose to see each and every mistake as a badge of honor? What if instead of shame and regret, we would allow ourselves to feel proud that we tried something and then use the wisdom gained as a treasured tool set as we move forward. We can’t risk if we’re not willing to fail and we’ll never be willing to fail if we don’t love ourselves enough to know our identity is never in our failures OR our successes.
